Cheryl Marianne’s musical journey started early while singing in school choirs. As her passion developed, Cheryl began to put down her musical roots taking piano lessons and studying music theory. This then led to honing her stage chops in folk groups and performing in professional venues.

As with all journeys, paths are chosen and the needs of family life took centre stage for Cheryl, but the love of music never left her soul.

Fast forward to the last few years and the passion for music was reborn in Cheryl as she began singing in karaoke bars for fun and then progressing to jamming with full bands. To fully immerse herself she visited Nashville. Cheryl went to the legendary Bluebird Café, sang on Broadway and sang at the Country Music Festival in Winchester, Tennessee.

Currently, Cheryl is releasing her debut full length CD “Words & Music” featuring 10 of her own self-penned songs. She will also embark on a summer touring schedule that will include her second feature appearance at the Mayne Island Country Music Festival and at the Sechelt Country Music Festival. She will continue throughout the Lower Mainland, and wrap up at the Missouri Valley Old Time Country Music Festival in Iowa in late summer.
